Does your child struggle to read, spell, or compose sentences and paragraphs? Real Readers for Life can help! Over the last 23 years, the tutor has taught Pre-K through 6th graders with and without learning disabilities in independent schools and in the tutor's private practices in NC & SC. The tutor earned a degree with honors in Specific Learning Disabilities and has been an Associate of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham since 2003. It is the tutor's life's passion to teach children not only with learning differences but also children who strive to become successful readers and writers. This tutor implements multi-sensory, fun techniques to break the code to read, spell, & write well that will engage your child. Real Readers for Life offers individual in-person tutoring and online Zoom sessions for both homeschooled and school-based children. If there is an interest, the tutor is considering offering phonics based reading and writing in-person classes for groups of homeschooled K - 4th graders in the Southport area. Real Readers for Life would love the opportunity to help your child or groups of children. Please contact the tutor for more information.
