Decatur Avondale Children’s Choir

The Decatur Avondale Children's Choir is a community choir offering exceptional music education and choral training. For over 16 years, the Decatur Avondale Children's Choir has been a vibrant part of the performing arts community, nurturing young talent from Atlanta, Decatur, Avondale, Oakhurst, and the surrounding area. Welcoming singers from ages six to eighteen, DACC is dedicated to exploring a diverse array of musical styles, including classical, folk, world music, spirituals, pop, and Broadway show tunes. DACC fosters a culture of excellence, modeling exceptional musicianship and artistic achievement, as well as cultivating an inclusive, diverse environment. It frequently offers its singers unique and exciting educational musical experiences, such as invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall, in operas, and with a diverse range of fine arts organizations.
