Woodland Creatures offers STEM and Art homeschool enrichment drop-off to students entering Kindergarten - 2nd grade. This program runs outdoors for nature-based learning at two locations: Blackrock Lake in Littleton and Sharptail Ridge in Sedalia. The program operates from August - May on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am - 3:30pm, and also offers flexible scheduling. Woodland Creatures is also Colorado State-funded and offers FREE programming to qualifying families. Visit the program website to learn more and to find out if you qualify!
Classes follow a place-based curriculum with extracurriculars including bushcraft/skill-based learning and observing the natural world. The instruction-based classes during the day follow a session-long theme within the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions. Each theme is around Colorado ecosystems, landscapes, and people, and utilizes inquiry-based learning.
Enrollment is open for the upcoming school year.
