Southwest Ballet Theatre - Ballet, Jazz, and Adaptive Dance

Southwest Ballet Theatre, a non-profit classical ballet school and performance company in the West Valley, provides a high-quality, richly creative, pre-professional program to children and adults. It offers morning ballet and jazz classes for homeschool students, a free boys ballet program, and an all-inclusive Adaptive Dance class modeled after the successful program at the Boston Ballet Company. Students have the option to participate in two fully staged ballet productions each year (The Nutcracker and a spring ballet) at the Performing Arts Center at Estrella Mountain Community College.

All faculty have professional dance experience, are certified in a dance-specific curriculum, and/or are university trained. Southwest Ballet is a qualified vendor for the Empowerment Scholarship Account program from the Arizona Department of Education.
