The Science and Technology Enrichment Program (STEP) is a long-standing, cooperative effort between Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, Silver Bluff Audubon Center, and the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center.
The purpose of this effort is to enhance the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills of students in grades K-12. The elementary, middle, and high school programs offer hands-on experiences in a stimulating environmental setting. Implementing these programs on the Savannah River Site and Silver Bluff Audubon Center encourages students and teachers to experience science and mathematics in exciting yet challenging ways.
