As a PORCH Student Ambassador, the student will help fight food insecurity in their community by organizing and promoting food drives, spreading awareness about hunger issues, and encouraging others to get involved. The Student Ambassador will build relationships with donors and their local pantry, schedule food pick-ups, and collect and distribute food to their community partner ensuring families have the support they need. Student Ambassadors will strengthen their capacity for leadership, organization, communication, relationship building, marketing, and media. This is an ongoing activity in your hometown. Student Ambassadors serve everywhere in North Carolina and throughout the U.S. within a Chapter model.
