Katydid Music Studio

Katydid Music Studio is a place where owner Katie Smith empowers clarinetists to develop confidence and uncover their musical potential. She has over 10 years of private clarinet teaching experience, as well as Dalcroze-Eurhythmics training that I infused in her curriculum to help students succeed. Combined with 15 years of piano training, Katie is able to provide an all-inclusive musical education with the added perk of accompanying my clarinet students for performances, recitals, and auditions.

Katydid Music Studio offers 30, 45, and 60-minute private clarinet lessons in person and online. Lessons are open to ages 8+ and students need not have prior experience. All ability levels are welcome. The benefits of studying clarinet at Katydid Music Studio are individualized instruction, coaching in music theory, sight reading, audition preparation, and guidance on performance opportunities and community ensembles.
