Designed for children ages 6 -9, this program provides students the opportunity to explore, play, and learn in the outdoors and the amenities of the Nature Center. Daily activities, games, stories, and nature play support our seasonal curriculum and provide crucial time to develop the social-emotional skills that are at the foundation of a child's learning journey. Environmental Educators ensure that each child's educational needs are met while nurturing more awe and wonder for the natural world. Homeschoolers spend the day at our Wildlife Education Campus with HHNC Educators as they learn about the natural world. Each session, students will learn about a specific ecology topic and spend at least half the day outdoors (rain, snow, or shine) doing a combination of guided activities and free play. This is a drop-off program. These run as 8-week sessions.
