Highlands Latin Cottage School Phoenix Valley

Highlands Latin Cottage School - Phoenix Valley provides classical, traditional, Christian education for students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Students who attend this cottage school receive all the benefits of in-home education with the additional structure of a traditional, teacher-centered classroom.

HLS Phoenix Valley operates as a full-time school with students attending classes on campus one to two days a week (depending on grade level). Classes are held on Mondays from 8:30am to 3:30pm in North Phoenix and on Tuesdays for upper school grades. The rest of the week is done under the supervision of a parent. The goal of HLS Phoenix Valley is to partner with parents to provide a community of like-minded families to train and equip their children in the way that they should go. Classical education strives to teach students how to learn, how to think (wisdom), and what to do (virtue). Wisdom and virtue are nurtured through learning of Latin, immersion in classical texts, and the study of the liberal arts.
