Hands2Teach is an inclusive microschool and learning program that provides language-first, hands-on education for children of diverse learning needs, including deaf and neurodivergent students. The program emphasizes communication access, visual learning, and individualized support to help students build strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and social development. Instruction is designed to be engaging and meaningful, incorporating thematic learning, project-based activities, and real-world connections.
The learning environment prioritizes accessibility, community, and student-centered growth, with a focus on fostering independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Through a combination of structured academics and experiential learning opportunities, Hands2Teach supports each child's unique learning style while promoting inclusion, collaboration, and lifelong learning skills. Hands2Teach aims to bridge the gap between deaf and hearing by teaching all students regardless of hearing abilities, sign language so all can communicate.
