Group and private fencing lessons

Saber Nation Fencing Club is a new saber fencing club in Bethesda, Maryland (opening Fall 2026), serving children, teens, and adults from beginner through competitive levels. The club offers group instruction, private lessons, camps, and open fencing in a dedicated saber facility under the leadership of Olympic Coach Fikrat Valiyev and an experienced coaching staff.

Often described as "physical chess," saber fencing combines speed, strategy, and split-second decision-making in one of the world's fastest sports. Students develop coordination, focus, self-discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship while participating in a welcoming community that encourages personal growth, lifelong learning, and a healthy, active lifestyle.

Saber Nation welcomes students of all levels. Equipment is provided for beginners, and the club offers daytime programming suitable for homeschool families.
