Girls on the Run provides fun, evidence-based programs that motivate participants to recognize their inner strength, increase their physical activity, envision their possibilities, and confidently stand up for themselves and others. Girls on the Run encourages individuals of all abilities to discover, develop, and grow their self-confidence. Together, they experience a sense of belonging and connection as a team. Volunteer coaches lead lessons that combine physical activity with life skill development, including managing emotions, fostering friendships, and showing empathy. At the end of the season, the team completes a Community Impact Project and a 5K together, which offers a tangible sense of achievement and helps foster a confident mindset.
By getting involved with Girls on the Run - whether signing up your girl, telling a friend, coaching a team, or volunteering at a 5K - you are intentionally supporting all girls in your community.
