Fashion Sewing with Ms. Julia

Fashion Sewing instructor Ms. Julia has a decade of experience teaching youth sewing classes and a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology. She offers Fashion Sewing classes across the Bay Area that emphasize design creativity and garment construction skill-building in a positive and patient learning environment.

All of the machines, tools, and materials are provided in class including tons of options of high quality fabrics, threads, and notions. Each class also includes a customizable embroidery design stitched directly onto the students’ project. Students receive a folder for each class which contains project design sheets, sewing pattern(s), written sewing instructions, and fashion sketching pages. Folders are sent home at the end of the class session so students can keep sewing on their own!

Classes are offered through Albany recreation on Saturdays and Lafayette Recreation on Monday and Wednesday.
