Ensemble Room NYC

Ensemble Room NYC offers weekly small group music classes for upper elementary, middle, and high school students in Manhattan. Ensemble Room NYC has multiple sessions per academic year, and summer offerings as well. Academic year sessions last approximately 3 months, and conclude with a performance open to families, friends, and the public!

Participation in small ensembles, aka "chamber groups" or "combos", offers the unique opportunity for students to establish musical independence, develop artistic leadership, and build collaborative decision-making skills and confidence. In small groups, students have the opportunity to have their voices heard, be truly creative, and discover their unique artistic voice. Due to logistical constraints in schools, many music students do not have the opportunity to participate in small ensembles until studying music in college. Ensemble Room NYC offers the opportunity for students ages 8-18 to participate in small ensembles early on in their musical upbringing!
