Denver Audubon Nature Preschool is an outdoor, nature-based education program serving young children and homeschool families in the Denver metro area. Rooted in experiential learning, the program emphasizes curiosity, observation, movement, and relationship-building through regular time spent outdoors. For homeschoolers with preschool-aged children, Denver Audubon Nature Preschool can serve as an enrichment option that complements home education by providing consistent opportunities for child-led exploration, social connection, and hands-on learning in natural settings. Ages 3-6
In addition to its preschool programming, Denver Audubon also offers school-age homeschool classes designed for elementary-aged learners. These classes support homeschool families seeking structured, nature-focused learning experiences that deepen children's understanding of local ecology, environmental stewardship, and scientific thinking through direct engagement with the outdoors. Together, these offerings provide homeschool families with developmentally appropriate, place-based learning opportunities across early childhood, elementary years, and beyond. Grades K-8
