Christian Home Educators of Colorado (CHEC) has served homeschoolers in Colorado since 1990 through conferences, seminars, resources, legal work, and more. They envision families honoring Jesus Christ by embracing home discipleship that is Christ centered, parent directed, and free from government control. The CHEC Independent School provides a simple way for families to homeschool under the umbrella of a private school under Colorado's Non-Public School Law. CHEC's events include Homeschool Day at the Capitol, the Rocky Mountain Homeschool Conference, Homeschool Introductory Seminars, Father Son Retreat, Women's Encouragement Day, and more, in addition to online events at HomeschoolSummits.com. CHEC's Legislative Liason works year-round to fight for home education, religious liberty, and parental rights at the state Capitol.
