Last Frontier Christian Co-op is a member-driven group. Everything that is offered is put together by talented and generous volunteers. We believe each person that participates has unique gifting that will benefit our Last Frontier Christian Co-op family. Because of this we ask that everyone pitch-in and help make this group a blessing to all.
Sunny Knik Chapel Homeschool CoopWasilla
We meet Fridays from 1-5pm at Sunny Knik Chapel, mile 14 Knik Goose Bay Road. We start with a Chapel service, devotions, and a speaker. Then we break off into classes. Classes available (depending on interest) car care, music, sign language, hunter safety, art, languages, as well as tutoring in math and science. Come October 1 to sign up for classes.

CC is a national homeschooling program that uses a Bible based curriculum taught in a christian, classical tradition. Classes are geared for age 4 through high school.
TOTEM CorrespondenceAlaska Statewide
Totem Correspondence supports homeschooling parents and K-12 students in the state of Alaska. Totem Correspondence offers a variety of programs including project-based and traditional curriculum, credit recovery, dual enrollment, on-line options, one-on-one tutoring, as well as other benefits. In addition, every student enrolled in Totem Correspondence will receive their own laptop.
The Alaska Zoo Field TripsAnchorage
Field Trips are a great way to get out and explore! We offer many resources at the Alaska Zoo. We have a Self-Guided Safari so you can go at your own pace. Zoo School is another option and is led by one of our zoo educators in our classroom at the zoo. These 45–60-minute classes engage your students through standards-based lessons that create a connection between curriculum and the wildlife of the Alaska Zoo. Our final option is Creative Crew at the Zoo! Use your creative talents to observe, learn and create the animals of the Alaska Zoo through art. Students will learn about a focus species (moose or muskox) and their inspiration will show through their artistic creation.
