We have used the World history for high school, and the Economics curriculum.
They are both very well done. I love how he relates everything to God. Isn't that what our goal is? to see and understand how our lives relate to God. What higher goal?
I will say that the white paper and no breaks in the text (i.e. int he stewardship supplement) are hard on the eyes to read, I have to get another piece of paper to "underline" and block out some of the text so I can read it. It is hard on our eyes.
Reading the original documents adds so much depth and understand than traditional texts where the documents are merely excerpted or referenced. It make a big difference to read it in "their" words.
I would always recommend Mystery of History first, but this is a very close second. Well done Notgrass.
We are looking forward to ordering the Govt. and America books next year.
We are using the Notgrass American History curriculum this year. I love that it includes BIble, Literature, Writing and History wrapped up in one curriculum. My kiddos like using it as well.
