  1. Christian Kids Explore… Series Review by Elaine
Pros: broad coverage, good intro to chemistry
    Grades Used: 4th

We used the Chemistry the book, since my son was interested in learning chemistry beyond the basic electron-proton-neutron stuff, and this book does cover a broad range of topics in chemistry (e.g. acids, bases, organic chemistry, reactions) at a very introductory level that is suitable for elementary aged kids. There are unit tests, which are multiple choice, and are taken pretty much verbatim from the text, so if the student is paying attention, it should be easy. There’s hands-on activity ideas for each lesson too.

  2. Christian Kids Explore… Series Review by Suzanne
Pros: simple language, easy to use
    Grades Used: K, 1st, 5th

We used Christian KIds Explore Biology. We enjoyed using this material. I felt that my oldest was not challenged enough. I wish I had purchased another in the series for my boys this year. Good stuff and good basics of the study of biology.

  3. Christian Kids Explore… Series Review by Renita
Pros: great layout, easy to use, kid friendly
    Grades Used: 6th

We have just started using this this year and my 6th grade dd is loving it. She is doing most of it on her own and thinks that it is awesome! It is written to the student and set up for success. There is daily reading, vocab words, worksheets, and experiments. There is an activity book that has the worksheets, etc. in it.

It is a soft back book that is easy to cart around. There aren’t any color pictures in it, but that doesn’t seem to be a detraction to my dd. The student book is non consumable (the way we are using it) so I can use it for my younger kids.
