Students from fifth grade and up meet weekly to learn visual art. Lessons will teach first classical drawing using graphite, charcoal, conte, and ink. When the principles and elements of design are mastered by the student, color will be introduced, and the painting course starts with lessons about acrylic, watercolor, and oil paints. Students will learn painting surface preparation and basic sculpture as part of the program.
