Guiding Eyes for the Blind is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is looking for puppy raisers and sitters for future guide dogs. Volunteers take these puppies into their homes from 8 weeks to 15 months and teach them basic obedience, house manners, and provide socialization opportunities. We provide all the training (classes with the pup once per week for @8weeks, then every other week for the time you have the pup), pay all veterinarian bills, sitters when you go on vacation. It is very rewarding to watch this 8-week-old puppy learn about the world around them and have the potential to become someone's eyes.
