The Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation: Aptitude Testing for Career and College Guidance in CaliforniaMultiple locations
For over 100 years the nonprofit Johnson O'Connor Research Foundation (JOCRF) has been offering comprehensive career aptitude testing that helps high school students (14+ and up) plan for college and career. Each person's unique combination of aptitudes predicts the types of careers and degree programs they'll thrive in. Using your aptitudes in your work and schooling has been shown to be a key to success and satisfaction. This service offers 6 hours of hands-on, interactive assessments that feel like puzzles or games. Test results are discussed with the family in 60-90 minute consultation appointments (plus a free, second consultation), and all clients receive a 20-page report with their scores and a list of sample careers that would fit their aptitudes. They provide in-clinic Speech, OT and ABA in their Murrieta location, as well as in-home ABA Therapy throughout San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. They also have our their Psychologist on staff to provide assessments, evaluations and diagnostic services. They accept most commercial insurance as well as IEHP in Riverside, and San Diego Regional Center in San Diego. RiteCare Childhood Language CenterSan Diego
The RiteCare Childhood Language Center provides free speech and language services to children ages 2-12. This nonprofit clinic provides speech and language evaluations and individual, weekly speech-language therapy. RiteCare admission guidelines require a child to be up to date on immunizations and have only speech and language concerns, with no additional diagnoses. All services are provided at the clinic located in Mission Valley by fully licensed, board-certified Speech-Language Pathologists. The therapy rooms are equipped with observation windows so that caregivers can watch sessions, and parent involvement is encouraged to increase client progress.
