Alisa has taught private music lessons in Nashville since 2004 at the Violin Shop and Williams Fine Violins. Now teaching in the Music Row area, in-person and virtual lessons are available at her studio. All ages and levels are welcome... whether you are a student, an adult starting out or brushing up, needing to prepare for an audition, wanting to learn to read music, discovering improvisation, or making that transition from classical style to fiddle, there is a place for everyone in her studio. Alisa also teaches beginning piano and voice. Before moving to Nashville, Alisa graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Music. She worked at The Lowery Group music publishing company and taught lessons at The Lovett School. She now resides in Nashville with her family, 2 cats, 1 dog, and 5 city chickens. Alisa has shared the stage with some of country music's finest.
