Tulip Grove Christian Academy

TGCA is a group of families who come together to support one another and share in homeschooling their children. We offer classes for 1st-6th grade.

Tulip Grove Christian Academy is a homeschool tutorial founded in 2013. Our mission is to serve and partner with homeschooling families in the Old Hickory/Hermitage/Mt. Juliet and surrounding area. Our program meets on Mondays at Tulip Grove Baptist Church, where we are proud to be a ministry of the church. Our goal is to come alongside families in their homeschool journey, offering strong academics in addition to support and enrichment activities in a Christian environment.

We offer tutorial classes for grades K-6 for 30 weeks from 9:30 am-2:30 pm. Morning classes for elementary will primarily focus on history and science, while the afternoon will offer elective classes such as art, music, writing, Spanish, and PE. Our Kindergarten program meets for a 2-hour block in the mornings.

We are a volunteer-run organization and we believe parental involvement is vital to a successful homeschooling endeavor. We do try to balance this with your own family responsibilities and commitments. Our service requirements at this time are:
