College bound, or not, this training gives a practical understanding of several areas of practical science and technology while training in an immediately profitable career path that includes business startup ideas with leadership and management components.

Powder coating is a technical process that incorporates a host of principles of physics, chemistry and engineering technology into a smooth and beautiful production process. It is used in both creative and highly functional areas, from house signs and stainless cups to truck wheels and tractors.

The PowderBuyThePound technical training class is a non-sales course with 70% hands on application practice and training in a clean lab environment. The class promotes best practices and support improving the powder coating industry nationwide. Students travel from Canada, South America, and across the U.S.A., to receive hands-on practical training and understanding in this profitable high-tech industry. Training includes using high temperature curing ovens, spray booths, electrode charging spray guns, compressed air, mild chemicals, and sandblasting.

Homeschool only classes can be created, minimum 4 participants to reserve the week.
Group rates are available at up to half price for the second family member.

Training is available in 2-day and 4-day classes, Monday - Thursday
    - Day 1 - practical classroom training from the manual with hands on examples
    - Day 2 – Safety followed by a day of prepping and spraying metal parts with multiple creative coatings
    - Day 3 – Special powder uses with advanced powder coating methods and technology.
    - Day 4 – Lab day with the instructor allows students to review what they learned and work independently to powder coat their own small items from home or practice with classroom metal.
