What do pandemics, STEM, and a 90-second timer have in common?

Find out at the Pandemic Science in a Nutshell Games on July 27 at 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at Conor O'Neill's Irish Pub in downtown Ann Arbor!

Two middle school-aged students are needed to serve on the 5-person judging panel of the Games. Young students interested in STEM, Medicine, Theatre Arts, Communication, or leadership would be a perfect fit.

The panel of community judges will join a public audience to watch researchers tackle the challenge of explaining their work in just 90 seconds, reflect on their favorites, and learn how science is helping predict and prevent future outbreaks. Local middle schoolers will help decide the winner! Free, fast-paced, family-friendly, and made for the community! An evening of science, storytelling, and conversation.
