Looking for a class that's anything but ordinary? Step off the beaten path and into a world of quirky landmarks, curious tales, and bizarre local lore from two of New England's most delightfully odd states: Connecticut and Rhode Island! Along the way, we'll explore how coastal geography, rivers, trade routes, and seafaring communities shaped these unusual stories. From the Big Blue Bug and Louis' Lunch to the Willimantic Frog Bridge, Mr. Potato Head, and baby capybaras, we'll uncover the strange attractions that make our region unforgettable-and discover how life by the water helped create some of its quirkiest legends. Come curious!
