Makor HaEmet School is a Messianic Jewish University-Model school in Southwest Houston serving PreK through 2nd grade, with 1st grade added for the 2027-28 year. Students attend campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM for classroom instruction from credentialed teachers, and learn at home the remaining days using assignments and lesson plans the teacher provides. Parents act as co-instructors at home and do not need teaching experience or prior curriculum knowledge. Classes are small, and the curriculum draws on Abeka, Bob Jones, and similar programs alongside Bible, Hebrew, and worship.
The school year follows the biblical calendar and the feasts, and Hebrew is woven into worship and daily learning. Enrollment is open to all families who share faith in Yeshua as Messiah; children are not required to be Jewish or to have a Hebrew background, and families from Christian backgrounds are welcome. Tuition is $4,400 per student per year. Prospective families begin by attending a parent information meeting, held monthly. The school is a 501(c)(3) and a member of NAUMS, the National Association of University-Model Schools.
