Horse Powered Reading at Open My World Therapeutic Riding Center

This is a great opportunity to let children learn outside of a classroom setting using horses and the outdoor environment. This program is fantastic for children who are having trouble reading or with understanding words in the classroom setting. The horse is used for calming and helps relieve some of the pressure or anxiety when it comes to learning. This program lets children use their entire body to understand vocabulary through fun games and the outdoors. It lets the child be outside a classroom and learn in a different way.
