Heidi Wischler Music

Heidi Wischler is a music instructor with dedication to her craft and passion to teach her students. She provides lessons in students’ homes and online, as well as at her music office in the Bothell/Mill Creek area. Lessons are scheduled Monday through Saturday. The Fall schedule will be available in September.

Heidi offers lessons in:
• Brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, euphonium/baritone horn, French horn)
• Woodwinds (recorder, flute, clarinet, saxophone)
• Piano/keyboard
• Ukulele and acoustic, electric, and bass guitar
• Percussion (snare drum/drum set)
• Voice

Heidi is passionate about teaching music and helping students of all ages and abilities achieve their goals. She continues to create individualized and comprehensive lesson and practice plans that align with each student’s goals and interests. Her students range in age from 4 to 70+ years. She celebrates all students, regardless of experience and background. Heidi has worked with students who have a disability and finds this experience to be particularly rewarding.
Annual student recitals are held, with the possibility for more depending on interest.

Qualifications/Experience
Heidi holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and has many years of experience performing, recording, and teaching. Additional areas of instruction include music theory, ear training, composition/arranging, transcribing, transposing, improvisation studies, and introduction to DAW.
She has worked in a variety of educational settings, including Kennelly Keys Music, 4/4 School of Music, as a private music teacher at The Overlake School and as a private music teacher and assisted the Band Teacher, as well as a substitute teacher for instrumental music and general education. Additionally, she has worked in the Edmonds, WA, School District as a music para-educator in music.
