FREE resource for the community! Beyond Basics- Literacy is available inside the Durfee Innovation Society a.k.a. the old Durfee Elementary building in Detroit. (Davison and The Lodge) Reading Coaches work one on one with students – especially 16 to 24-year-olds, who may need extra support. All ages are welcome though. GED support, resume’ writing, workforce development also offered free at this time. You can schedule a one hour, daily session with their Literacy Coaches to see great gains quickly!
