Classical Conversations campus in Strasburg VA uses the classical method of education and a biblical world view to teach students "To Know God and to make Him known." Classical Conversations is a Christian Community of like minded home-school parents seeking to use the trivium of grammar, dialectic, and rhetoric phases to teach Timeline, History, Geography, English Grammar, Latin, and Science. Incorporated into the community day are science experiments, fine arts, and presentation opportunities. Communities meet from 9-1 for foundations levels and from 1-3 for Essentials levels. The essentials program uses IEW: Institute for Excellence in Writing. It is a phenomenal program that lays the grammar of English writing as well as the understanding of writing technique and style for students. It also offers remedial understanding for the parent who may find teaching a student how to write well a daunting task. The writing program incorporates the History focus for the year.
