Founded in 2011, CMET's goal is to provide a "full and generous curriculum" rich in ideas and living books based on Charlotte Mason's wonderfully rich educational philosophy and methods.
CMET offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers reading, math, language arts, history, science, literature, Bible, and the arts. Students study artists, composers, poets, Shakespeare, and nature study topics each year. As a part of their nature study, they will also have the opportunity to learn dry brush watercolor.
Students work together in class two days of the week and three from home with parents following a syllabus prepared by their tutor.
The Charlotte Mason Elementary Tutorial is a member of the Childlight Schools Association and of the Society of Hybrid Schools.
