At Brookside Music, patient instruction and positive guidance make learning fun and inspiring. We currently offer lessons in piano, voice, and music theory. Our one-on-one lessons give students the opportunity to build their skills and confidence to unlock their creativity. We believe music is a fundamental cornerstone of expression and imagination, so let us help set you or your child onto the path of musical discovery!

As a professional performer, original songwriter and experienced teacher, I bring a balance of music theory, creativity and constructive guidance to every lesson. I majored in Piano Performance at The Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, Connecticut, furthering my skills in voicing, harmony, and music theory. I have been teaching piano for nearly 20 years. I encourage my students to hone their technical skills and explore their creativity, as this balance is what has helped me succeed as a professional musician. Teaching has always been a rewarding way to share the boundless possibilities of music with others.

Filled with natural light and equipped with professional audio and video recording equipment, our established home studio features a full 88 key Yamaha Clavinova digital piano with an amazing key touch and sound quality that’s always in perfect tune. A Roland RD-800 88 key digital piano, Roland Juno Gi, and a Korg R3 Vocoder are also available for those students who may be interested in an electronic musical approach. Our welcoming space is also comfortable for waiting parents, so if your child is taking lessons, please help yourself to our free internet, a cup of coffee, and enjoy our sunny back deck garden!
