Raices, Hispanic Heritage Cultural Arts Center at Miller Drive Park, Arts Summer Camp, is open for online/in person registration. This program is for children ages 8 to 10, with maximum capacity for 25 children per week. Please note that due to the limited space (25 children per week) and single-room setup, participation is strictly limited to the specified age group, 8 to 10.
The program features a rich variety of disciplines, including classical painting, puppetry arts, percussion, chorus, filmmaking, and, on Fridays, engaging sessions of chess and pickleball. Exciting field trips, at no extra cost, to PAMM, Frost Science Museum, and Roxy Theater are included in the program.
The camp will run from June 8 through July 31, 2026, Monday through Friday (excluding county-observed holidays), 9:00 AM to 3.30 PM, or 7:30 AM (early drop-off and sign-in) to 6:00 PM (late pick-up and sign-out).
