Acoustic Vibes-Music Classes/Orff-Approach

Acoustic Vibes Music Classes – Ages 8-14 – are designed to teach music fundamentals, and musicianship, through the Orff Schulwerk Approach. Offering partnerships and group ensembles in singing, guitar, hand drumming, and melodic percussion. Themes for learning the basic elements of music, are derived from Multi-cultural folk songs, rhythms, dances, and games. Students will learn to play acoustic instruments (Series I) and further develop their musical talents and strengths (Series II). The instructor holds a masters degree in music education, Kodaly certification, and a masters level certification in the Orff Schulwerk Approach. Acoustic Vibes classes are currently active at Idaho Music Academy, with flexibility for being presented in other venues – space available.
