They evaluate visual skills needed for academic performance such as tracking, visual perceptual, eye-teaming, etc. They understand that visual skills go beyond 20/20 eyesight. This can be stressful to a visual system that is not performing optimally. If visual deficits are identified, vision therapy is helpful in most instances.
