Sokol Spirit is a non-profit organization in Brookfield, IL that has been involved in the community since 1929! This organization has been a guiding force in the promotion of physical fitness for many years. Throughout the years, Sokol programs have evolved to include a wide array of activities that are fun for kids of all ages (3 to 100+). Through fun after school classes and programs, leaders promote physical and skill development, teamwork, leadership, and a positive self-image. The goal is to give kids a well-rounded experience that helps build social skills as well as learn what their talents are. Each student has an equal opportunity at being successful, and our certified instructors encourage all levels of skill to participate and have fun.
Sokol Spirit also offers social events for members including an Oktoberfest, Quiz Night and holiday parties. Members participate in the Brookfield Zoo’s “Trim-a-tree” every year, and work with the local LaGrange Nurses Association’s Secret Santa program.
