Oyama Karate

Oyama Karate in Homewood was established in 1972 and is the oldest martial arts school in the state of Alabama. Classes in traditional Japanese Karate are available for ages 3 and up. Through the inherent physical development, students experience growth in such areas as perseverance, goal-setting, focus, patience and self-control. Content of the classes also contributes to students' body awareness, coordination and balance as well as gross and fine motor skills.
