Cheryl is a pianist, vocalist, and music educator teaching Suzuki piano, Piano Safari, and children's voice lessons both at Dietze Music (Fort and 144th) and at the Omaha School of Music and Dance (Dodge and 144th). She teaches all levels of piano, from ages 3 through adult, as well as voice lessons to children ages 6-12. She specializes in working with young children using both the Suzuki Method and Piano Safari.

She has been teaching private lessons for nearly 30 years and holds a BA in Music, MM in Vocal Performance, and a DMA in Early Music Performance Practices. Her singing career was primarily in opera and early music, both as a soloist and ensemble member. She has also been a choral conductor and accompanied ballet classes. In addition to teaching piano and voice, she also plays the harpsichord, guitar, and ukulele.
