Homeschool Aerial Dance at Murmurations VT

Aerial dance offers a unique way for young artists to explore creativity in the air. In this introduction to aerial dance, students will learn foundational skills such as climbing, inversions, footlocks, and knot sequences, building the strength, body awareness, and safety habits that support a lifelong relationship with the apparatus. Improvisational scores will invite students to explore movement with curiosity and imagination, discovering their own artistic voice in the air. Technical and improvisational skills will be woven together as students create original choreography, culminating in a piece performed by the class. No prior aerial or dance experience is necessary - just a willingness to climb, explore, and create.
