Our Northshire Skating Academy program is designed to bring new kids, teenagers, and adults who have never skated before and teach them to skate proficiently at a recreational level. Our model is designed to take beginners and move them through different levels until they are competent skaters.
We have two different days for Northshire Skating Academy's Recreational Skating program, Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings. There are two different teaching sessions, one is the fall session that runs from October to the end of December, and the other is the winter session, which starts in January and goes until the last week in February.
These sessions will be roughly an hour and fifteen minutes to an hour and a half. Your skater will have roughly 30 minutes of instruction and then the rest of the time they can free skate. Your skaters family is also welcome to free skate during that time!
