Cons: Paid $499.99 for a Deluxe Bundle but only received 2 low-quality folders. Long shipping delays. Misleading promises about restocking fees. Had to pay my own return shipping. Charged a $198 restocking fee even though I never received the full order. Dishonest customer service that falsely claimed I kept the rest of the package.

Homeschool complete curriculum
I ordered the Kindergarten Complete Deluxe Bundle (Faith-Based) for $499.99, but after a very long shipping delay, I received only two folders instead of the full bundle. The material itself was very disappointing—poor quality and looked like simple printouts.
When I contacted the company, they offered to send the rest of the order, but by then the school year had already started, so I chose to return it. I was told the restocking fee would apply only to the two folders I received, and I also had to cover the return shipping myself. I went out of my way to adjust the box size to save a little on shipping costs.
After waiting nearly three weeks for confirmation of my return, I was shocked to see a $198 restocking fee deducted—far more than what was promised. When I reached out to question it, the company falsely assumed I had received the entire deluxe package and accused me of keeping the rest. That was simply not true.
This entire experience—from the delays, to the low-quality materials, to the lack of honesty in handling returns—was extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this company based on their business practices and customer service.

This was a very disappointing experience. Poor quality materials, broken promises, and unethical business practices. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this curriculum. However, there have been several grammatical errors in questions and instructions, there have been inconsistencies between what's in the student book versus the teacher book, instructions have been written incorrectly, and answers have been incorrectly marked as well.
Cons: Lots of parent time as you are teaching your child, but worth the effort.

My child was removed from "distance learning" at the regular school and put into homeschool during Covid for kindergarten. I loved the curriculum and the teaching guide was easy to follow. After a year of distance learning for others and homeschooling for my child, she started first grade well ahead of her peers, and she stayed there until 3rd grade where she is now at level with the rest of her peers. She has now asked to go back to home school because "school was easier" and "took less time", as I work full time her homeschool year was a challenge but the curriculum was well laid out and I know I can pick it up again. We are looking forward to jumping back into McRuffy it was well worth the cost.

I have been using McRuffy Press for 12 years. I have used kindergarten through 5th grade for my four children. I love the convenience and the fact it covers all of our needs. All of my children learned to read and developed a live of reading using the McRuffy. I recommend this curriculum to all who are just starting out. It has been a blessing to our family.

McRuffy Language Arts was my absolute favorite when my children were in early elementary! I loved that it included everything: reading, phonics, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and writing. I also loved that it was open and go and didn’t need much prep from me.
They also provided great customer service whenever I needed something or had questions.
McRuffy is a lesser known curriculum option, but I recommend it to all my friends!
