Buying Your First Car: A Workbook For TeensHow To Buy Your First Car: A Workbook For Teens

A vehicle is often the first major purchase made by a teenager, either alone or in conjunction with his or her parents. The purchase process is an excellent opportunity to learn how to evaluate a major purchase decision, not just based on the item itself but also on the long term cost of owning the item. Many factors play into the decision of which vehicle is right for an individual, such as the purchase price of the vehicle, the cost of owning the vehicle, the needs of the buyer, the availability of vehicles, and the reliability of a given model.

This workbook will not give you a formula to determine if a vehicle is the right purchase, but it will help you to gather information that will help you to evaluate the pros and cons of purchasing a particular vehicle.

Logging In

The password is morningcoffee and the username is your subscribed email address. Both are all lowercase. If the login does not work, do not keep clicking submit. You will be locked out of the entire server.

Be sure you are subscribed:

  • Did you receive the confirmation email and click the link to confirm your email? Gmail users should check the Promotions tab in your Inbox for the confirmation email.
  • If so, wait 15 minutes, delete the contents of the login fields, carefully reenter the username and password all lowercase with no trailing or leading spaces, and try again.

These are the most common problems encountered:

  • Please be sure that there are no preceding or trailing spaces in the password if you copied and pasted it. Typing the password is best, as spaces included when pasting the password will cause the login to fail.
  • Logins are case-sensitive and both username and password should be all lowercase.
  • If you are sure the email and password are correct, please wait 15 -20 minutes and try again. There is occasionally a delay in updating file with the login credentials if the script is busy.
