Homeschooling in Tacoma/Puyallup:

Science Olympiad Home School Team

The Science Olympiad is a national science competition for Middle School and High School students. Teams of up to 15 students compete in 23 different events from all areas of science. For each event, students work in teams of two to three students. The SGC Homeschoolers Science Olympiad teams are made up of the following grades:
Division B – Middle School (4th-9th grades)
Division C – High School (8th-12th grades)

The team has an amazing time learning and competing together. The practices are on 2 Mondays per month, 9:30-12:30. Tournament season starts in January, and each team will participate in 3 tournaments each. The Middle School and High School teams may consist of members from Thurston and Pierce counties. Please contact the team coach with any questions regarding joining.
