The Strategic Air and Space Museum's Homeschool Days take place once a month, focusing on a central theme such as Space Engineering, Navajo Code Talkers, and Animal Tracking to name just a few. Each day begins with a small lecture, introducing the theme and key concepts, followed by a number of hands on activities that will make for a memorable day for your kids and students! *Most Homeschool Days are geared for Elementary age students, and all grade levels above, but some days may be structured more for students in upper grades (7-12). This is not meant to discourage any students in younger grades but just be aware it may be on the challenging side. Homeschool Days are held at 1:00 PM on the first Thursday of each month. Registration, theme details, and payment information can all be found on the SASM website . If you have any further questions call Christopher Swancara, at 402-944-3100 Ext 221.
