Miami Conservatory of Music Musical Theatre

The Miami Conservatory of Music offers 2 musical theatre programs for homeschool students on Tuesday mornings: The Mini Musical Theatre for ages 4-6 (10-week session of one hour concluding with 2 performances) and the Kids Musical Theatre for grades 2nd-4th (from September through April, one hour 1/2, ending with 2 performances in a big theater). These programs are filled with fun learning techniques, high energy staging and non-competitive learning in an exciting and nurturing environment. The program focuses on singing, acting and movement. No auditions or experience are necessary. Roles are distributed on the 4th week of class and everyone has guaranteed participation. Students are accepted in the order of which the applications were received. Costumes, props, script and music are all provided.
