Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is conducting a study that looks at the Brain Effects on Appetite and Metabolism (B.E.A.M.) in children. The BEAM study is recruiting 9-11 year olds and their parent(s) to participate. The study involves 5 visits to Johns Hopkins Hospital spread out over 2 years. Some study activities include body measurements, questionnaires, MRI scans, 1 blood draw, buffet meals, games, and prizes. Participants are compensated for each visit.
