Indianapolis Early Music Festival

Indianapolis Early Music offers two Free Family Concerts and also free student tickets at the other six concerts when ordered in advance. The Festival runs from June 14 through July 14 at the Indiana History Center, bringing to Indianapolis the finest musicians performing music of the Renaissance and Baroque Periods. Complete information can be seen on the web at www.iemusic.org.

At the June 29 and July 13 concerts Free Family Concerts, children of all ages will hear the “pop-music” of the times of William Shakespeare and Leonardo Da Vinci performed on instruments of those times. Seating is open and doors open a half hour before the 11:00 concerts

Information and tickets for the Festival’s Friday evening (7:30) and Sunday afternoon (4:00) concerts can also be found on the web or by calling 317 577-9731. Each of these concerts are preceded by a discussion with the performers and followed by a reception.
