HEART Village (Hunger Education and Resource Training)

Hunger Education And Resource Training Village, or HEART Village for short, is a missionary training institute dedicated to educate, equip and empower Christian workers with practical skills in cultural adaptation, problem solving and community development for the purpose of meeting the needs of the hungry and oppressed while sharing the good news of God's love. Our community is designed as a fully functional simulated developing world village, complete with livestock, a farm, developing world appropriate technology and rustic cabin style housing. We offer opportunities for volunteers in our gardens, our plant nursery, our animal husbandry farm, our kitchen and in our office. Students must be at least 18 years of age to volunteer without a parent. Families are welcome volunteer as well.
